We have a variety of exercise mats on our laminate flooring. Most are very thin, mostly to protect the floor from the elliptical, stationary bike, trainer and weights. But I wanted a thicker mat for jump rope.
This fits the bill. It’s much thicker than I expected, and excellent at both reducing shock and reducing noise. And it’s nicely finished, with bevelled edges. Definitely a good value.
The only flaws are that after a month it still curls in at the edges from being rolled up when manufactured/shipped, and the bottom is very slippery. No aerobics on this one! I mean so slippery that if you have one foot and all your weight in the middle, and with the other foot do a “back-tap-back-tap” combo, the mat will pivot! And this is on textured laminate, hardly a slippery material! But for jumprope, yoga, sit-ups, push-ups and so on, it’s perfect.

This gym is well made, solid, but comes with no weights. It’s small enough that it will fit in any room - I have it in a 6×4ft area.
The instructions leave a lot to the imagination but with that said, it only took me 4 1/2 hours to put together. Make sure that you lay all the parts out and put them in order so you know which part is which before you begin.

Well, I haven’t had a follow-up xray, but I can tell you how good this thing feels. I had an xray prior to getting this product revealing my spine (near the base of my neck) is straight, and not curved as it used to be. I had an injury about 10 years ago that has forced me to have headaches…neck cracking, etc. I tried a chiro ONE time, and never again. I know why people like them, and it’s because they crack you and it feels good. But the problem is, you have to keep going to them, and cracking and “Manipulating” doesn’t address what the real problem is. This thing does. I already noticed after 3 weeks of usage that I don’t have the headaches I used to have, nor have I needed to crack my neck as often.
